Laundry and Wood

Sunny and cool.

Did the laundry again...

Started to cull the old wood piles the former owners left.

Used my log splitter

Decided to build a sawbuck out of all the scrap lumber around here. The wood stove I'm going to buy uses 18" logs so I have to build a smaller sawbuck.

I'll finish it up tomorrow.

Had a long conversation with the owner of Ehlers Store. She kind of mentioned that her friend worked for FEMA. When she mentioned her name I knew her very well. She tragically died and soon after her significant other did as well. Both lived in Bayfield. Sad story as they were only in their 50s.

Going to visit the three local libraries and donate  a few copies of my books.
