More Wood and Electrician

Cut down the largest and most dangerous tree to date. It was aimed directly at the Wellhead.

Tied a rope to a pulley to the winch...

Did a designer cut, used wedges and Bingo another success.

Wood If I Could

Lost my internet last night. It was the first time that has happened.

There was a dead birch aimed right at my wellhead. I had to drop it before it crushed my new ... very... expensive well.

Another view

Bingo!  Nailed IT!

Excellent cut

Slowest Barber in the World

I just waited 90 minutes for a haircut that took...50 minutes. Amazing. There was one guy in front of me so I waited after 45 minutes I just had to see how long this was going to take. 45 minutes later he finished the guy's haircut.

While I was there 3 other guys showed up. My haircut took almost an hour. You gotta love small towns.

Then I did my laundry at the gas station/laundromat.

Went home and shoveled gravel.

My toads made fun of me.

Chipper and Toads

I got a very small chipper

Found this scat in the barn. Thought it might be a raccoon or skunk...

Turns out it was my pet toads, Eddie and Frank.

Decided to double the size of the foot washing station.

Perfect afternoon for sailing. Steady 10 mph wind and 80 degrees.

I have redish sails.

It was only 130 feet deep!

Yucky Gravel

I guess I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. The previous owners left a load of gravel outside the green barn. It must have sat there for years. It is all full of roots, leaves and dirt.

And even some worms. Worms do not belong in gravel.

Foaming done on the inside and ugly gravel laid down as first layer.

Great thing about living at a lake. When you get hot you just jump in the lake...

Then you work a little more and dry out. More wood.

Oh boy, looks like a massive crop of raspberries will be here in a few weeks.
